‘Fowl’ is another bird art print that was designed for an Inktober prompt by Alexandra, and is the second piece to follow the story of our young queen who nurtured baby birds in her crown (see ‘Nest’ for the first in this series).
Here we see a newly-born chick hatching out of its egg for its first day in the big-wide-world. The chick represents pure innocence, reliant entirely on the queen until it grows old enough to leave the nest. These would make a wonderful statement in a children’s bedroom or playroom or gifts for soon-to-be parents..
